Inspired by the entrepreneurial spirit of the dot com era, Vincent Lau established Aeturnus E-Solutions LLP, a web design and development firm based in Singapore, with 2 other like-minded partners in 2006, whilst pursuing his degree. As a person who enjoys seeking new challenges, Vincent went on to collaborate with the Data Storage Institute (A*STAR) in 2007 to develop a working prototype of an electronic book reading device that uses an electrophoretic display and mobile phone (GPRS) connectivity.

After graduating with honours in Bachelor of Engineering (Materials Science) and a minor in Computing from the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Vincent assumed the role of Managing Director and Chief Web Developer of Aeturnus. Having a keen interest in research and development, Vincent was also a research collaborator in NTU’s Nanocluster research group. His research work includes flexible/printed electronics and organic/hybrid Photovoltaics.
